We believe that partnering with parents is the most effective way to impact our kids. So, everything we do centers around putting families first. It’s important for us to have creative environments where your family can learn incredible truths about Jesus Christ. But more than that, we want to give you the tools you need, as your child’s number one influencer, to have the answers for some of the most important questions they will ask.

Check In & Check Out Procedures

At Renovation Church, we have instituted a specific check-in/check-out system that will allow for quick drop-off and pick-up of your children at their designated rooms.

  • Step 1: Check-in at the iPads located under the “Children’s Check-in” banner.
  • Step 2: Pick up your nametags and security stickers at the printer.

Each child will be given a nametag with their designated room and a security code that matches the security sticker. These stickers must be worn by the children at all times. Parents, hang on to that security sticker! You'll need it for check-out.

  • Step 1: Line up outside the classroom doors with the security sticker that you were given during check-in.
  • Step 2: Tell the volunteer your child's name and hand them your security sticker.
  • Step 3: The volunteer will call your child by name and another volunteer will remove your child's sticker and match it with your security sticker as your child is released into your care.

Who will be watching my kids?

We only allow volunteers who enjoy working with kids and have a passion and talent in ministering to children! Anyone who has an R-Kids shirt or a Little Builders shirt has cleared our multi-step volunteer application and training process along with an extensive background check. Registered sex offenders are not permitted in or around our children's area and are not permitted to volunteer in any capacity within the children’s department.

What is the Well Child Policy?

Children with above-normal temperature, vomiting, or diarrhea in the past 24 hours, or a cold, persistent cough, rash or any contagious disease or infection should not be brought to the children’s areas out of respect for other families. Parents must be sure that their children are free from signs of illness for 24 hours before bringing them. If a child becomes ill while in our care, the parent/guardian will be asked to pick up their child. Teachers do not administer medications.

How would you contact me during a service?

If we need to contact you for any reason, the sticker number you were given will appear on the auditorium screen. A volunteer will be waiting in the hall to let you know why you were contacted.

What is your Crying Child Policy?

If your child is crying for more than 10 minutes in a way that is concerning or upsets the rest of the class, we will come get you unless you specify otherwise.

Are children allowed in the Main Auditorium ?

Children under age 6 are not allowed in the main auditorium. We take our calling to build disciples very seriously, and we recognize that everyone wins when children are learning in an age-appropriate environment and adults are able to hear the gospel with as few distractions as possible.
