Rooted provides the opportunity to connect with God, the church community and your purpose in unexpected life-changing ways. Think of Rooted as a personal journey – a journey with the goal of deepening your connection with God, His Church, and your purpose in the big, epic story He is writing through human history.
Rooted is a catalyst for life-change that provokes questions and conversations and offers beyond-what-is-comfortable group experiences designed to give you a glimpse of your story in God’s story.
Rooted is a 10-week experience that is most effective if every participant attends weekly and misses no more than two meetings. The registration fee for Rooted is $15 per person. Classes will begin the week of January 27th.
This is one of the most important experiences that we do here at Renovation Church so you don’t want to miss it, especially if you are new to Renovation or new to your relationship with God.
Frequently Asked Questions
I am already a part of a Life Group. Do I still need to register for this? Yes. Rooted is a separate experience than Life Groups. You can not do Life Group AND a Rooted group at the same time.
What is the minimum age? Students through 12th grade will have the opportunity to participate in the Rooted Experience through our Student Ministry. College age is the minimum age for the regular groups.
Will the class have childcare? Yes. All classes of ROOTED will have a childcare option.
Can I be a part of two classes as my work schedule changes from week to week? The answer is..... maybe? Due to the nature of the class and the depth of discussion, this is not ideal, but we may be able to work something out. See Joe or Robbie and talk it over. We want to make a way for EVERYONE to take this course.
How often does the group meet? Rooted groups meet once a week for 10-weeks. There is a separate Prayer Experience, Serve Experience, and Celebration Night that will happen within these 10 weeks.
Why do I have to pay for this? The registration fee goes to help cover the books, childcare, and the meal at the Celebration Service at the end of this semester.
What is the time involvement outside of the group time? You will have 5 days of "homework" to do each week. This consists of reading in the book and then answering questions based on that reading.
