Whether you are just recently engaged or been married for years, our passion for healthy Godly marriages is huge! We are excited that you have asked about getting connected with a mentor couple and this is the first step in that process.
So here is how it works......
Who: Marriage 101 is for one man, one woman couples who are married or engaged to be married within the next 6 months. Previously married couples who are separated or divorced and are considering reconciliation are encouraged to pursue this as well.
Cost to you: You will pay for an online assessment that will be used throughout the sessions. The cost for that assessment is $34.95. The church provides the workbooks you will use.
Time Commitment: There are 6 in-person meetings with your mentor couple that will last 1.5 - 2 hours each. There are two videos that you will watch at home and complete the workbook and then discuss with your mentor couple at the next in-person meeting.
Schedule: This will be agreed upon with your mentor couple. Because everyone's time is valuable, please honor your mentors by letting them know well in advance if plans need to change.
Child Care: Your mentors can help try to arrange a time that childcare is already available at the church if needed.
Your first assignment is to complete an online assessment that will not only allow your mentor couple to get to know you, but will also expose questions that need to be brought up at the appropriate time within the 6-week course.

Please enter Robbie@theRenovation.Church so that I will get a copy of the report. I will pass that along to your mentor couple once assigned.
After I get your results I will pair you with a mentor couple and you will begin your counseling sessions.
