At Renovation Church, we use the “Pastor” title to refer to its literal meaning of “shepherd”. Our pastors are leaders who shepherd a group of people within a ministry context. We believe there are two offices prescribed for church leadership in Scripture—Elder and Deacon. You will see an “Elder” designation in parentheses for all the leaders who hold an Elder role at Renovation Church. We consider all other ministry leaders, regardless of title, as functioning in the “Deacon” role.
